'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League return
Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his desire in going back to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to discuss a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year contract he inked when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which was the first major achievement of his notable career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about going back home as he previously was, and would certainly think about prolonging his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so progresses and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the speediest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five competitions, attaining the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had escaped him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
